To round out ten perfect days at Sea Cliff Cottage, I spent my last Eleuthera weekend at The Cove. Now, I know that in previous posts I was enthusiastically touting the benefits of renting a private house and that pure relaxation comes from being self sufficient while you're away, BUT my tune changed a teensey bit the moment I found out that if I needed anything at all brought to me in my beach lounger, I simply stuck this little flag in the sand. Beyond that, The Cove really is the ultimate in Caribbean indulgence and if you are craving a resort environment that is still very boutique, this is your place.
The Objective: To celebrate a long week in Eleuthera with equal parts luxury and sun.
The Vibe: This is a "the Devil's in the details" kind of place. Think white on white with a side of pink sand. Every moment, from the views, to the hammocks, to the bath products, has been meticulously chosen and thoughtfully crafted for a five star experience.
The Stay: Your every wish is catered to, the accommodations are ridiculously chic, and you are completely secluded, yet The Cove manages to remain un-stuffy. Go to dinner barefoot, because the resort's yellow labs will be curled up underneath your table as you eat lobster.
